Skaters must first audition for the program through the Program Director or be recommended by one of our ISC coaches. Team coaching, jump technique, spins, off-ice, theatre on ice, edge class, games and prizes are all a part of the Skating Academy Program.
The program follows the CanSkate curriculum of combining a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere, as well as focusing on learning the quality basic of figure skating.
Our Skating Academy program has been designed for skaters who show a desire, talent, dedication and an interest in figure skating. It is taught in a group format.

What to wear & bring:
- Skates, Skating dress/skirt, tights, warm sweater gloves
- Leg warmers optional
- Speak to director regarding helmet
- Yoga Mat, Runners and Water Bottle for Off Ice
